Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• At least 1 year of full-time experience with children birth to six years with speech and language disorders.
• Experience with implementing, evaluating, and instructing the use of augmentative communication devices.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and administration.
• Accurate records and data progress notes.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy for language, speech, or hearing disorders in classroom settings.
• Consult with teachers and parents on communicative development and AAC use.
• Use standardized tests to diagnose and determine therapy eligibility.
• Maintain progress reports and documentation for each child.
• Train teachers to use AAC and model communication strategies in class.
• Coordinate with school staff to ensure appropriate space and scheduling for therapy.
