Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assesses students' communication skills to identify disorders and plan treatment.
• Collaborates with parents, teachers, physicians, administration, and other professionals to coordinate services.
• Coordinates meetings for eligible students and presents evaluation results.
• Develops treatment plans and educational materials to minimize impact of disorders.
• Instructs staff on communication disorders and use of assistive devices.
• Provides speech and language therapy to students to minimize adverse impact on learning.
• Maintains records and files for compliance and reference.
• Performs home visits and site visits as required.
