Job summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an early childhood program in Peoria, IL, serving birth to age five in Head Start and Early Head Start. This full-time role involves traveling between three sites with a home base.

The SLP will evaluate and treat young children, develop treatment plans with families and educational teams, and participate in IEP meetings to ensure high-quality services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active Illinois SLP license.
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL), or eligibility to obtain.
• ASHA CCCs preferred; strong Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
• Passion for working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language evaluations and therapy for young children in early childhood settings.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and educational teams.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with the local school district to ensure quality services.
• Support home visitors by providing consultation and intervention strategies when outlined in a child's IFSP or IEP.
• Empower parents with strategies and resources to encourage communication development at home.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and district requirements
