Job summary

ESC of Central Ohio is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support student communication goals in the Columbus area. The role focuses on identifying and remediating communication disorders to help students progress in their educational programs.

The position requires evaluating articulation, language, voice, and related areas, developing IEPs, and delivering therapy within a compliant, supportive school environment. Strong collaboration with families and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or equivalent required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence required.
• Pupil Services License/Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students in articulation, language, and related areas.
• Assist with the development of the Individualized Education Program (IEP).
• Plan and implement therapy programs and schedule sessions.
• Use effective behavior management to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Incorporate instructional technology and uphold acceptable use policies.
• Utilize assessment and progress monitoring to inform instruction.
• Consult with parents and school personnel; provide at-home guidance.
• Provide in-service training to staff and families.
• Participate on building level teams and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, and all laws and policies.
