Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Speech Language Pathology Assistant to support students in a charter school setting in Chandler, AZ. You will assist the supervising SLP with direct treatment, screenings, data collection, documentation, and collaboration with teachers and parents.

Qualifications include an Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred), completion of a certified SLP Assistant program, a valid AZ DHS SLP Assistant license, and at least 1 year of school-based experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a certified training program for Speech Language Pathology Assistant.
• Valid Speech Language Pathology Assistant license from the Arizona Department of Health Services.
• Preferred 1+ years of experience in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Speech Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services in a charter school setting.
• Support clinical/educational services, direct treatment, screenings, consultation, collaboration, data collection, and documentation.
• Complete required daily documentation.
• Attend parent conferences and IEP meetings with supervising SLP permission and written documentation.
• Provide intervention strategies to staff to support students' speech and language goals.
• Complete student screenings using protocols specified by the supervising SLP, without interpretation.
