Job summary

Speech Pathology Group and Rehab Services of CT (SPGCT) is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school-based therapy team in Ridgefield, Connecticut.

The role focuses on pediatric services, collaborating with educators and related service providers to create engaging, functional therapy experiences that help students participate fully in school. We offer a supportive environment with growth opportunities and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• CF or CCC credential.
• CT licensure required.
• Pediatric and/or adolescent experience preferred.
• School-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose students' communication disorders (articulation, fluency, voice, language).
• Create and manage measurable goals for intervention plans.
• Collaborate with educators and other service providers on the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide high-quality school-based speech-language therapy services.
• Select and/or prepare speech-language instructional materials.
• Provide carryover activities for students, families, and team.

The Speech Pathology Group and Rehab Services of CT (SPGCT) is growing and looking for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school-based therapy team in Ridgefield, Connecticut.

This is a great opportunity for a pediatric SLP who enjoys working with children, collaborating with educators and related service providers, and creating fun, functional therapy experiences that help students participate more fully in their school environment.

In addition to physical therapy, SPGCT offers families a broad scope of services including speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, ABA, and aquatic therapy, creating exciting opportunities for multidisciplinary collaboration.

Speech And Language Pathologist Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose student's communication; articulation, fluency, voice, language disorders.
• Create and manage measurable goals/objectives for the student's intervention plan
• Work amongst other service providers on the multi-disciplinary team
• Provide high quality speech-language therapy service to students
• Select and/or prepare speech-language instructional materials
• Provide carryover activities for students/ team / families
• Keep current with professional literature and attend seminars on a regular basis to maintain and update professional skills. Be a lifelong learner
• Write and maintain confidential client case notes and reports, as well as information for students, and other professionals
• Maintains safe and clean working environments by complying with procedures, rules and regulations

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
