Job summary

Mt. Lebanon School District is seeking a Personal Care Assistant at Washington Elementary School for the 2026-2027 year.

The role works with students with special needs in Learning Support and supports other special education assignments, on-site, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The position is full-time and permanent, with starting wages of $16.69–$16.79 per hour, paid biweekly over 24 pays, and prorated for start date.

Qualifications

• Be a high school graduate or possess a GED.
• AND
• 1) Have completed at least 2 years of postsecondary study,
• OR
• 2) Possess an Associates degree or higher,
• OR
• 3) Complete a series of job-based trainings during the first year of employment, and continuing education credit hours during subsequent years

Responsibilities

• Work directly with students with special needs in a Learning Support classroom.
• Support other special education assignments as needed.
• On-site schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, 190 days per year.
