Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a contract School Social Worker to support preschoolers in a dedicated center. You will greet students, provide push-in services, and conduct weekly play-based evaluations, while monitoring a caseload of 39 students and documenting monthly service minutes. Hours are 8:00 am–3:45 pm, Monday–Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Job description

Bring your social work skills and passion for supporting young learners to a rewarding contract role focused on early childhood education. Work with preschool-aged children in a nurturing school environment, providing essential support and guidance during a pivotal time in their development.

In this assignment, youll focus on students ages 35, conducting both direct service and play-based evaluations, averaging about 75 minutes of support per student each month. Responsibilities include regularly evaluating students as young as 2 years and 10 months, with 39 students currently on your caseload. Your weekdays run Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:45 pm, with a 30-minute duty-free lunch each day. The role is based at a single primary center, creating consistency for both you and the students you serve.

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement
