Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a contract School Social Worker to support preschoolers in a dedicated center. You will greet students, provide push-in services, and conduct weekly play-based evaluations, while monitoring a caseload of 39 students and documenting monthly service minutes. Hours are 8:00 am–3:45 pm, Monday–Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Compensation ranges from $30.00 to $50.00 per hour. Eligible candidates have an Illinois PEL with School Social Worker endorsement and experience or

Qualifications

• License: Illinois PEL with School Social Worker endorsement
• Experience or strong interest in school-based social work with young children
• Knowledge of play-based evaluation methods for preschoolers
• Strong organizational skills for confidential records and minutes
• Ability to collaborate with educators and families
• Warm, approachable demeanor for arrivals, dismissal, and classroom support

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist students during arrival and dismissal
• Provide direct in-classroom services via push-in support
• Conduct play-based evaluations every Friday
• Monitor caseload progress and document service delivery (monthly minutes)
• Partner with teachers and caregivers to address student needs collaboratively
