- A school district in Northern Illinois is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker (SSW) to support students in an early childhood/pre-kindergarten setting for the full school year.

Position Details

• Schedule: Full-Time
• Assignment: One school building
• Setting: Pre-K/Early Childhood
• School Year: Full School Year
• Caseload: Building-based School Social Worker position serving the assigned pre-k program

Responsibilities

• Provide social-emotional and behavioral support to students.
• Conduct assessments and contribute to special education evaluations as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in IEP meetings and support the implementation of student services.
• Provide individual and group interventions to promote student success.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)
