Qualifications

• Passing score on a competency test approved by the NC Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
• Registration as an assistant with the NC Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
• Strong communication and collaboration with students and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Administers screening protocols.
• Administers therapeutic treatment protocols written by the supervising SLP.
• Communicates with students and professionals to support learning.
• Obtains case histories and completes observation checklists.
• Manages behavior with appropriate techniques.
• Summarizes and records target behaviors during therapy sessions.
