Job summary

Ampersand Therapy LLC is hiring a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for a full-time school-based position in Lillington, NC for the 2026-2027 school year. You will support students by providing speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP.

Compensation includes up to $40/hour, W-2 employment with liability insurance, healthcare benefits, and a 401(k) with company match. Reimbursement for licensure, CEUs, and mileage is provided, with referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Passing score on a competency test approved by the NC Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
• Registration as an assistant with the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Administers screening protocols.
• Administers therapeutic treatment protocols written by the speech-language pathologist.
• Communicates with students and other professionals to meet the emotional needs of students.
• Obtains case histories and completes observation checklists.
• Manages behavior using appropriately designed management techniques.
• Summarizes and records target behaviors during therapy sessions.
