Job summary

Platinum Therapy seeks a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school-based team in Coachella, CA. You will work under the supervision of a licensed SLP to support students’ communication and development in a hands-on, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Current California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) certification/authorization required
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with SLPs, teachers, school staff, and families

• Reliable, professional, and dependable

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Implement individualized treatment activities based on students’ needs and established therapy plans
• Support students in working toward their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
• Collect data and document student progress during therapy sessions
• Collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, school staff, and families
• Help create a positive, supportive, and engaging environment for students
• Follow school, district, and clinical procedures related to student services and documentation
