Job summary

Thrive Therapies is hiring an SLPA to implement speech-language therapy activities in K–12 settings under direct supervision by a licensed SLP. You will deliver structured intervention, collect data, and help students achieve communication goals with guidance from your supervising SLP.

Ideal candidates have completed ASHA coursework, maintain SLPA registration as required, and demonstrate strong collaboration with educators. Thrive supports licensure pathways and clinical hours documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences or related field is required.
• State SLPA registration, licensure, or certification as required by the state.
• ASHA-required academic coursework and clinical observation hours completed.
• Background check and immunization clearance per school district requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement SLP-designed therapy programs for students with articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
• Conduct one-on-one and small-group therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques per supervising SLP.
• Collect precise session data and maintain progress notes; share findings with supervising SLP.
• Support AAC use and assistive tech per SLP direction.
• Assist with language-screening procedures and data collection under supervision.
• Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to generalize skills across settings.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow ASHA ethical guidelines for SLPAs.

Education
