Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a Stafford, Virginia school-based setting. The SLPA will provide therapy under licensed SLP supervision, assist with individualized plans, and collaborate with school staff to foster communication development.

The role requires a valid Virginia SLPA credential/license, completion of an approved SLPA program is preferred, and prior experience in educational settings is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Valid SLPA credential/license required according to Virginia requirements.
• Completion of an approved SLPA program preferred.
• Experience working with children or in educational settings preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively under SLP supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services under supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Assist with implementation of individualized therapy plans and goals.
• Support articulation, language, social communication, and related needs.
• Monitor progress and assist with documentation.
• Collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, and school staff.
• Provide engaging therapy activities to support communication development.
• Maintain accurate service records and follow therapy procedures.
