Qualifications

• Texas SLPA licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and precise documentation and therapy planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to adapt interventions based on individual student needs and goals.

Responsibilities

• Implement speech-language therapy activities directed by a supervising SLP.
• Provide direct support to students with communication challenges during sessions.
• Assist in development and execution of individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Track and document student progress, reporting outcomes to the supervising SLP.
• Support classroom teachers in integrating communication strategies throughout the school day.
• Participate in team meetings, in-service trainings, and ongoing professional development.
