Qualifications

• Must hold current licensure as an SLPA.
• Experience providing support in schools or educational settings preferred.
• Familiarity with implementing speech and language therapy plans under supervision of an SLP.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, families, and staff.
• Ability to organize, track, and document student progress effectively.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans designed by the supervising SLP.
• Work with students in small groups or individual sessions to develop communication skills.
• Gather and record data to monitor student progress and inform the SLP.
• Prepare therapy materials and create a positive, supportive learning atmosphere.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators, therapists, and families.
• Assist with screenings, assessments, and classroom activities as needed.
