Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a local contract School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a local contract job in Cleveland, Texas. The position requires an active Texas SLPA license if required by that state, American Heart Association BLS, and at least one year of relevant experience.

The SLPA will assist the supervising SLP with evaluations, implement IEPs, deliver direct therapy, and collect data on student progress.

Qualifications

• Active Texas SLPA license if required by that state
• American Heart Association BLS
• At least one year of recent relevant experience preferred
• School experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• SLPA may assist SLP-CCC with evaluations and screenings.
• SLPA will implement individualized education plan developed and directed by the supervising SLP
• SLPA will provide direct therapy services addressing treatment goals developed by the supervising SLP to meet the needs of the student
• The SLPA will be expected to collect data and document student performance and report its information in a timely manner
