Job summary

VerbaCare, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our school-based team.

You will assist in assessments, help develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP to support students' communication needs. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff, monitor progress, maintain records, and participate in group and individual sessions focusing on articulation, language development, fluency, and pragmatic

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
State license or eligibility for licensure as an SLPA.
Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in conducting assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and supervision.
Provide therapy services to students individually and in groups for articulation, language development, fluency, and pragmatics.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals.
Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and progress reports.
