Qualifications

• SLPA degree program or related field completed or in progress.
• Florida State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLPA.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, educators and families.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage caseload and documentation.
• Dedication to culturally competent, student-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting speech and language assessments under licensed SLP supervision.
• Provide speech and language therapy interventions, exercises, and activities.
• Support treatment plan implementation and carryover of therapy goals.
• Monitor and document client progress; communicate findings to supervising SLP.
• Work with individual students to reinforce therapy techniques.
• Maintain accurate records, session notes, progress reports, and billing docs.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and ethical standards in a school setting.
