Job summary

Eleutheria in Bemidji, MN is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to support K-12 students with IEP goals through direct therapy and collaborative planning with the SLP and classroom staff.

You will assess, document progress, prepare materials, participate in team meetings, and help students develop communication skills in school settings, with full-time hours and a competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field is required.
• Current SLPA license or eligibility to obtain in the service state.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background check required.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech therapy services to students aligned with IEP goals under supervision of an SLP.
• Assist in implementing treatment plans and document student progress toward goals.
• Support the SLP in screenings, data collection, and informal assessments.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to reinforce communication strategies.
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, service logs, and progress documentation.
• Prepare therapy materials and adapt activities for individual student needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions as appropriate.
