Job summary

Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center is seeking a full-time School Based Speech Language Pathologist—Teacher of Students with Speech & Language Disabilities to support learners at our Rosewood location in Cheektowaga, NY. The role focuses on evaluation, diagnosis, and targeted therapeutic interventions within an educational setting.

Qualifications include NYS SLP licensure or CFY eligibility, ASHA CCC-SLP, and TSSLD certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
• New York State SLP license or CFY eligibility.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification (or CFY eligible).
• TSSLD Initial or Permanent certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention for students with communication disorders.
• Implement SLP instruction to teach or habilitate students in educational settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, PTs, audiologists and other professionals.
• Submit reports (evaluations, treatment, progress and discharge) timely.
• Supervise CFYs and TSSLDs as licensed SLPs.
• Maintain licensure and pursue continuing education.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
