Job summary

TheraPeds Partners in Chestertown, MD is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This school-based role is on-site with some hybrid options, and offers a competitive hourly pay range of $55-$65 based on experience, with guaranteed hours and a substantial caseload.

You will provide direct therapy, conduct evaluations, develop and monitor IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Active or eligible for Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist licensure.
• Appropriate Maryland Department of Education certification or credential for school-based practice.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Clinical Fellowship (CF-SLP) candidates may be considered, with supervision available.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students individually and in groups.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop IEP goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies based on data.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff.
• Support AAC and communication needs across settings.
• Complete documentation and progress reports in a timely manner.
