Job summary

The School Association for Special Education in DuPage County seeks a Speech Language Pathologist (FMLA Leave Coverage - Temporary) to provide speech and language services to students with developmental and/or physical disabilities across multiple programs.

Reporting to the Program Administrator, the SLP will collaborate with classroom teams to design communication systems, assess needs, implement MTSS interventions, and support IEP goals while maintaining accurate records and compliance with

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders is required.
• Illinois Professional Educator License endorsed for speech-language pathology is required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP (or working toward CCC-SLP through CF Process) is required.
• License or Temporary License as a Speech Language Pathologist in Illinois is required.
• A valid Illinois driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides speech-language services to students with developmental and/or physical disabilities.
• Collaborates with classroom teams to support IEP goals and MTSS processes.
• Maintains records and prepares reports on the speech-language program.
• Assesses students' communication skills and develops treatment recommendations.
• Engages in ongoing professional development and professional growth activities.
