Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Castroville, CA is seeking a qualified Speech and Language Pathologist to serve in a school district for the 2026-2027 year, working with preK-12 students to overcome speech impairment.

The role involves eligibility determinations in articulation, language, voice and fluency, IEP reviews, and delivering group or individual therapy, with supervision as needed. Eligible candidates must hold CA license, teaching credential and ASHA CCC; relocation and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified candidates will have a California State license, teaching certification and the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.

Responsibilities

• Determine if students are eligible for services in articulation/phonology, abnormal voice, fluency, and language.
• Review IEPs at least annually and conduct initial and re-evaluations.
• Schedule and provide individual and/or group therapy sessions.
• Meet and confer with teachers and parents about methods and techniques for dealing with special problems and adjustments to education programs for communicative difficulties.
