Job summary

Soliant Health near Livermore, CA seeks a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist to support students’ communication needs in a vibrant school setting. This role emphasizes evaluating, treating, and supporting children with diverse speech and language challenges.

You’ll conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, lead therapy sessions, track progress, and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams. CFY welcomed; CCC-SLP preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Hold or be eligible for state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC-SLP preferred; CFY acceptable.
• Experience with pediatric or school-based populations.
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for students experiencing speech-language disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized, student-focused treatment plans.
• Guide engaging therapy sessions with clear, targeted goals.
• Carefully track and document progress, ensuring compliance with each student's plan.
• Collaborate closely with educators, special services staff, and families to ensure holistic support.
• Empower families with education and resources to foster progress beyond the classroom.
