Job summary

Central Public Schools in Minnesota is seeking a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time long-term substitute position from January 2027 through May 2027. The SLP will deliver direct and consultative speech-language services within a collaborative special education team in a K-12 setting, supporting students’ communication needs alongside teachers and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to students per IEPs.
• Assess and evaluate students' communication skills and needs.
• Develop goals, objectives, interventions, and service recommendations.
• Monitor progress and adjust services based on data.
• Complete required special education documentation and reports.
• Participate in IEP and planning meetings and collaborate with school staff.
• Provide strategies to staff and families to support communication skills across environments.
• Maintain accurate student records and comply with applicable requirements.
