Job summary

New London-Spicer School District 345 is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a long-term substitute role at Prairie Woods Elementary School. The assignment spans mid-December 2026 to May 28, 2027.

The SLP identifies, evaluates, designs and implements plans for students, writes IEPs, and collaborates with the Child Study Team, parents and teachers. It requires Minnesota licensure and strong communication skills; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Minnesota licensure required (Educational SLP).
• Experience in school-based settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess children with speech/language deviations and provide direct therapy.
• Develop ACC considerations and recommendations based on results.
• Collaborate with staff to implement recommendations.
• Schedule and manage speech and language service delivery and IEPs.
• Provide in-services to teachers, parents, and staff.
• Prepare data for billing and comply with procedures.
