Job summary

Charlottesville Early Learning Center is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Speech & Language Pathologist for October 2026 through November 2026. The role involves screening, evaluating, and providing speech-language therapy to students, coordinating IEPs, and collaborating with families and staff.

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology with Virginia licensure and ASHA certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
• Virginia licensure with endorsement in SLP is required.
• ASHA certification or eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess students’ communication skills to identify disorders and determine eligibility.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to coordinate services.
• Develop and implement IEPs and treatment plans.
• Provide speech-language therapy to students and monitor progress.
• Maintain records of evaluations, progress, and billing information.
