Job summary

EDU Healthcare seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Manassas, VA. The role focuses on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech-language disorders within a school-based setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Active SLP license in VA or eligibility before start.
• CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and educational service delivery.
• Work in a structured, school-based setting with built-in school holidays.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to make a direct impact on student success.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals.
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and district policies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress.
• Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as required.
