Job summary

Birch Agency in Reading, PA is hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to work in-person with students across pre-K to high school. You will screen, evaluate, and provide therapy, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with families and teachers to implement home programs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech and Communication required.
• PA School-based Speech Language Pathologist credentials required.
• State Licensure/Certification and ASHA Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Screen new students for Speech/Language disorders.
• Evaluate students to determine degree and severity of disorders.
• Provide Speech Therapy to students with a wide variety of disabilities.
• Complete appropriate paperwork following state guidelines.
• Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with parents.
• Confers with teachers and develops home programs when necessary.
• Consult with teachers and work as part of the Special Ed team.
• Provide thorough and accurate documentation in a timely fashion.
