Qualifications

• ASHA Certification necessary.

Responsibilities

• Screen new students for speech/language disorders.
• Evaluate students referred with speech/language disorders.
• Provide speech therapy to students with disabilities.
• Complete appropriate paperwork following state guidelines.
• Attend IEP meetings as needed.
• Confer with parents and develop necessary home programs.
• Consult with teachers about student needs.
• Work as part of the special education team.
• Provide thorough and accurate documentation.
