Job summary

Qualifications

• Masters Degree and current RI Certification required.
• Two to three years of experience in a school setting preferred.
• Structured Literacy Proficiency Level within one year of hire.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Google Workspace, and student information systems.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate and provide speech-language services to students with communication disorders.
• Administer screenings, evaluate suspected disorders, and report findings to the IEP team.
• Develop measurable IEP goals and implement/monitor speech-language remediation.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to integrate therapy across settings.
• Maintain records and participate in Medicaid logging and IEP documentation.
