Job summary

AnthroMed Education is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a full-time role serving PreK-22 students in Chicago Heights, IL. The position runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM, onsite, August 17, 2026 to June 1, 2027, with IES and Transition Programs available.

You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with teachers, families, and service providers to support student communication and progress.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois IDFPR Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required.
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Experience working with students with diverse communication needs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services to students across PreK-22 years.
• Support students at a specialized day school with individualized communication needs.
• Provide services to students K-22 years.
• Assist with preschool walk-in screenings and evaluations as needed.
• Conduct speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers to support student success.
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans based on individual needs.
