Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026/2027 academic year in the Wellton, AZ area. The contract role may be on-site with openness to virtual/online services to fit your expertise and availability.

The position focuses on improving students’ communication skills and overall academic success. The ideal candidate will hold a Master's in SLP, AZ licensure (or eligibility), and have prior experience with school-aged children, with strong assessment, diagnostic,

Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current AZ SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain.
Experience with school-aged children preferred.
Ability to assess, diagnose, and provide interventions for communication disorders.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Comfort using technology for documentation or remote services.
Commitment to approximately 30 hours per month during the school year.

Responsibilities

Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
Deliver engaging speech and language therapy services one-on-one or in small groups.
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to monitor progress and adapt strategies.
Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes, ensuring compliance with all guidelines.
Participate in required meetings and professional development as needed.
Provide support and resources to educators and caregivers to foster generalization of skills.
