Point Quest Group is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide school-based therapy to K-12 students in Oakland, CA. The role includes assessments, treatment planning, and direct therapy to support communication skills and educational access.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• DOJ/FBI Livescan background check required; must be eligible to work in the US.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities; knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Assessments & Evaluations: conduct formal assessments and keep compliant records, develop IEPs with MDTs.
• Treatment Planning: create and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members.
• Consultation & Instruction: collaborate with families and team to generalize target skills; may supervise SLPA.
• Data Collection & Documentation: maintain progress notes and data for monitoring and reporting.
• Time Off Management for Full-Time School Employees: manage time off during school breaks with supervisor approval.
