Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a school-based setting near South Yarmouth, MA. The role involves assessing, planning, and delivering speech-language therapy under contract, in collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, creating individualized treatment plans, and documenting progress in line with IEPs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Massachusetts licensure required/active.
• ASHA CCC preferred; Clinical Fellows considered.
• Experience in school-based SLP or pediatric populations desired.
• Ability to assess speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes.
• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy in accordance with IEPs.
• Maintain accurate records of progress, session notes, and required documentation.
• Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide holistic support.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to progress reports.
• Educate students, staff, and families about speech and language strategies.
