Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join a specialized K-12 program in Oak Forest, IL. The role focuses on supporting students with significant communication needs in a language-rich setting.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized goals, support AAC use, participate in IEPs, and help students achieve greater independence and post-secondary readiness.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Illinois SLP licensure/certification.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• Experience in a school-based setting.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy to students across Pre-K–12.
• Evaluate students' communication skills and develop treatment goals.
• Implement individualized therapy plans based on educational needs.
• Support receptive, expressive, pragmatic, and functional communication.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education teams.
• Support students who use AAC and other communication supports.
• Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, progress monitoring, and documentation.
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary team members.
• Provide strategies to staff to support communication and regulation needs.
• Help prepare students for increased independence and post-secondary transition.
