Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Gainesville, GA is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for a rewarding school-based contract. You will conduct screenings, provide therapy, and collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support student communication and growth.

Qualifications

Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
Experience in school-based settings is highly preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication challenges.

Responsibilities

Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students referred for speech and language services.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements.
Participate actively in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and collaborative planning sessions with educators and families.
Provide education and support to teachers and parents on strategies to facilitate communication and language development.
