BMS Pediatric Therapy Group, P.C. is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to serve as Clinical Supervisor and lead comprehensive evaluations for students in self-contained classrooms across Pre-K to junior high levels.

The role emphasizes AAC implementation, clinical oversight, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The ideal candidate holds an IL SLP license, IL PEL with endorsement, and has prior supervision experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited institution.
• Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
• Current Illinois State Board of Education Professional Educator License (PEL) with an appropriate endorsement required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred.
• Previous experience supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants required.
• Documentation of completed supervision-specific professional development or training meeting applicable state and professional supervision requirements.
• Experience with AAC assessment, intervention, and implementation required.
• Experience conducting comprehensive speech-language evaluations in school-based settings.
• Experience with students in self-contained special education classrooms preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students in self-contained Pre-K to junior high classrooms.
• Administer, score, and interpret standardized and informal assessments, language samples, and observations.
• Prepare evaluation reports, eligibility documentation, and recommendations within mandated timelines.
• Participate in multidisciplinary evaluations, IEP meetings, eligibility conferences, and collaborative consultations.
• Provide ongoing clinical supervision for up to two SLPAs per Illinois regulations.
• Observe SLPA service delivery and provide feedback and guidance.
• Assist SLPAs with intervention planning, IEP implementation, progress monitoring, and data collection.
• Offer consultation on AAC assessment, device selection, implementation, and intervention strategies.
• Support development of functional communication strategies for students with complex needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to ensure consistent supports.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, supervision activities, and compliance.
