Job summary

Topaz HR is seeking multiple full-time Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellows (CFYs) for in-person, school-based roles in the Coachella, California area. Fellows will begin their careers, complete their Clinical Fellowship, and provide services under supervision of a licensed SLP to support student communication development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or expected completion before start date.
• Eligibility to begin a Clinical Fellowship and meet California licensure requirements.
• Strong understanding of pediatric speech, language, and communication development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a school-based team.
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
• Willingness to participate in required clinical supervision and mentorship throughout the fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Support speech and language assessments to identify students' communication needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans under the guidance of a supervising SLP.
• Provide engaging, student-centered speech and language therapy services.
• Help students achieve their IEP goals and improve communication skills.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment approaches with supervisory guidance.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and educational team members.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning as appropriate.
• Participate in clinical supervision, mentoring, and professional development throughout the Clinical Fellowship.
• Create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment for students.
