Family of Kidz is seeking a Speech Therapist Clinical Fellow (CFY) for a center-based program in Hawthorne, NY. The role is full-time with hours Mon-Fri, 8:30a-4:00p, collaborating with BCBA and Special Educators to support language and communication goals.

The position offers a compensation range of $60,000–$75,000, depending on experience and licensure, with full-time benefits including PTO, health insurance, 401(k), and professional development support.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with NYSED certification.
• NYSED TSSLD or TSHH certification required.
• Clinical Fellows must have NYSED TSSLD certification.
• Experience working with students with autism preferred.
• Experience programming AAC devices.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for your caseload.
• Administer and create speech and language evaluations.
• Ongoing communication and collaboration with BCBA and Special Educators specifically related to overall language and functional communication.
• Oversight of student’s AAC devices.
• Utilize students’ behavior management strategies and behavior intervention plans during sessions.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school districts, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedule.
• Collect data on each IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
