Job summary

Soliant is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for the Cusseta, GA area. This contract position runs for the 2026/2027 school year, with full-time hours at 25 hours per week and ASAP start through May 21, 2027.

The role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with educators, parents, and specialists to support student communication and language development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• GA state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Complete GACE Ethics course.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute valuable insights to the multidisciplinary team.
• Offer professional development and support to teachers and staff on speech and language topics.
