Job summary

Winchester Public Schools District-wide in Winsted, Connecticut is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to support the SLP with treatment implementation, data collection, and collaboration with teachers and service staff. The role requires working under the supervision of the certified SLP and supporting student progress across Pre-K to 12.

The position entails traveling between three schools within the district, a 37.5-hour week with a starting rate of $25.00–$27.00 per hour,

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences (Preferred)
• Experience with children preferred

Responsibilities

• Document student performance and report information to SLP
• Assist SLP with treatment implementation using the treatment plan developed by SLP
• Collaborate with teachers and related service staff on a regular ongoing basis
• Adhere to student IEPs as directed by SLP
• Support in creating and preparing materials as directed by SLP
• Log sessions into Relay/Compuclaim
• Maintain updated data on all goals and objectives addressed in sessions
