Humanus is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse to deliver school-based nursing services across the 2026–2027 year in Philadelphia, PA. The role supports student health and wellness with a schedule of 32.5 hours per week and an immediate start.

The candidate will provide direct nursing care, develop health programs, coordinate services, and collaborate with school staff to maintain health policies and student records. This opportunity helps advance school health initiatives nationwide.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania RN State License required.
• PA School Nurse Certification through TIMS for Specialist-School Nurse PK-12 preferred.
• Candidates without PA School Nurse Certification may be eligible for an Emergency Permit.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with school administrators, staff, families, and community providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing services to students using the nursing process and current standards of practice.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive school health and wellness program.
• Coordinate care and health services for students throughout the school community.
• Monitor and support student health and wellness needs to promote successful participation in school.
• Collaborate with school administrators to develop, review, and update health policies and procedures.
• Schedule and coordinate onsite school dental and physical examinations.
• Maintain accurate health records and required documentation.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and confidential environment for all students.
