Job summary

Interim HealthCare of NEPA is hiring a School Nurse (RN) for the 2026-2027 school year in the Carbondale/Mayfield area. This part-time position offers day shift, 24–30 hours weekly, with weekly pay and direct deposit.

The RN will provide 1:1 care, administer medications, document health records, and collaborate with staff, parents, and healthcare providers to keep students healthy and ready to learn.

Qualifications

• Active PA RN or LPN license
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on patient care experience
• Current CPR certification; preferred
• Up-to-date clearances (assistance available)
• Caring attitude and strong reliability

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 nursing care to students throughout the school day

School Nurses play a vital role in keeping students healthy, safe, and ready to learn. Responsibilities include providing first aid and emergency care, administering medications and treatments, managing chronic health conditions, responding to illnesses and injuries, maintaining accurate health records, and collaborating with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student well-being. School Nurses also help promote a healthy school environment while ensuring compliance with district policies and state regulations.

Responsibilities of the RN School Nurse:
