Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania RN license in good standing.
• BLS/CPR certification current.
• Minimum one year nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in school nursing, pediatrics, homecare or acute care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and health services to students during the school day.
• Assess illnesses, injuries and medical emergencies and respond appropriately.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and school protocols.
• Monitor chronic conditions and develop individualized healthcare plans.
• Maintain health records and nursing documentation.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents and healthcare providers.
