Job summary
The Stepping Stones Group, LLC seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for a contracted, school-based placement in Danbury, NC for the 26/27 school year. This full-time role supports a K-12 district with private duty/1:1 nursing services.
You will work with experienced clinicians, implement health plans, and provide essential nursing support within the school setting, ensuring student safety and confidentiality while collaborating with staff and families.
Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in North Carolina.
- Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program.
- Current BLS CPR/AED certification.
- Experience with pediatric population and school-based nursing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain continuous observation of assigned student throughout the school day.
- Implement and monitor student health plans.
- Accompany student during transportation and community activities as needed.
- Communicate significant status changes to family, school staff, and clinical leadership.
- Provide first aid, daily medical care, and emergency support.
- Maintain student confidentiality per FERPA and HIPAA.
