Job summary

Synergy Services is seeking a Resiliency Specialist to deliver resiliency-based prevention education in assigned elementary schools within the School Based Integrated Services program. The role involves classroom, small-group, and individual work focusing on self-regulation, coping skills, mindfulness, and trauma-informed practice.

You will help staff implement trauma-sensitive approaches and support student well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, education, sociology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree preferred in related fields or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents; strong written communication skills.
• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to drive as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resiliency-based prevention education in elementary schools.
• Use evidence-based curricula with fidelity.
• Collaborate with teachers to create trauma-sensitive classrooms.
• Provide coaching to teaching staff and crisis management when needed.
• Maintain data and reports to meet grant outcomes and program goals.
• Participate in team supervision and training activities.
