This full-time, onsite contract opportunity spans from August 19th to October 9th, and is ideally suited for a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Certified School Nurse (CSN) who thrives on fostering student well-being in the educational setting.

Key Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license or Certified School Nurse (CSN) certification required
• Previous experience in school nursing or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and emergency care procedures
• Compliance with any state or district-specific credentials, such as Professional Educator License (PEL) if requested
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with students, families, and multidisciplinary school teams

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care and triage for students and staff during the school day
• Administer medications, manage chronic conditions, and respond to medical emergencies
